There was a simple shepherd working to graze the sheep for one of the
rich in the town and he was paid daily, as he was receiving a fee of 5 dirhams
a day, but a day came and this rich decided to leave the town and sell his
sheep herd and told the shepherd that then he presented his reward Great money,
and I will settle for it only with a daily fee of 5 dirhams, and the rest will
be returned to the owner of the sheep
The rich man left
and the shepherd stayed in the town and kept the last fee he received until he
took advantage of it when the situation narrowed. His journey began to search
for a new job, except that he could not find another job after the departure of
the sector owner. So the shepherd decided to do like people and he gave what
was with him to a merchant who takes the money from the people and buys goods
for them. Indeed, he went to the merchant and gave him 5 dirhams
He asked him to buy him anything worth 5
dirhams, except that the merchant told him that it is a small amount and there
is nothing that can be bought for 5 dirhams, so the sponsor insisted on him to
take the dirham, and despite the trader's surprise, he did not take the money
from him and went to his work and bought all the people's demands until he
mentioned the dirham The five shepherd did not find what he was buying in front
of him, except for a fat chunk whose owner was offering it for sale and bought
it
The merchant took the way back, and during the
trip he decided to rest in one of the countries on the road. There the
townspeople saw the cat, so they approached the merchant and asked to buy the
cat. He was surprised by their urgency to buy the cat until they offered them
to buy it in an amount equivalent to its weight in gold. So he asked why. They
said that the town suffers from mice and there are no cats to get rid of. So
the merchant sold the cat as much as its weight and went back to his village
The merchant handed over each owner of his money his right until the
shepherd’s turn came, so he took the shepherd away from the people and began
his oath to tell him about the secret of these five dirhams, which made the
shepherd feel surprised, but he told him how he earned the five dirhams, so the
trader told him what happened with him regarding his fifth dirham, how the
money Halal educates and grows bright gold
